I was fortunate to be able to photograph Deja Shaw-Huckaby when she was a sophomore competing in the 5A UIL State Track Meet in Austin on May 10, 2019. Her 4×100 meter relay team took second. She was third in the 200 Meter and won silver in the 100 Meter. I was looking forward to shooting her at State in 2020 but disappointed the meet was cancelled because of the pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now in her senior year at Chisholm Trail High School and with several college offers, Deja is looking stronger and faster than ever. Check out these images from my sports portrait session with Deja at Marine Creek Middle School in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n\n\n
